*RESPONSIBLE and MEANINGFUL*
Be responsible and meaningful for others. Keeping it straight and practical:
*1. Keep your word, especially on small things.*
If you say you’ll call at 7, call at 7. If you borrow Rp20.000, return it without being asked. Trust isn’t built on big speeches — it’s built when people stop having to double-check you.
*2. Pay your own costs first.*
Before you give advice, money, or time to others, make sure your own life isn’t leaking. Unpaid bills, broken promises at home, health you’re ignoring — those spill onto other people later. You can’t pour from an empty cup for long.
*3. Leave places better than you found them.*
Room, project, conversation, friendship. Fix the little thing that’s broken even if you didn’t break it. Take the extra 2 minutes to explain so the next person isn’t confused. It compounds — people remember how it feels after you’ve been there.
*4. Tell the truth early, not “when it’s safe.”*
If you messed up, if plans changed, if you can’t deliver — say it while there’s still time to adjust. Hiding it to avoid conflict usually makes the damage bigger, and the other person pays the price. Responsibility is about timing, not just honesty.
